“ We saw the words “sourdough” and were pulled in! Food: we had the sourdough kale cheddar scone and we were able to get it warmed up! The consistency of the scone was perfect. It was fluffy, moist, and so tasty. I also loved the addition of sesame seeds. We also wanted to get a loaf, but unfortunately, they do not slice the bread and we wanted to split it in half with each other. I will come back to a Dear Grain location to pick one up in the future though! Staff: the staff were friendly and were nice with giving us recommendations! They also started coffee eagerly for guests as well. Space: there is limited seating with only a table and two chairs and a wall table with three tall chairs. We were lucky enough to have the table open. Just anticipate that there might not be indoor seating available on your visit. Cost: the loaves are very affordable! Our scone was reasonably priced too. The coffee is on the cheaper side so that was great! We were so happy to spontaneously stop by and I will definitely be coming back! ”

The friendly staff adds a personal touch, making it a hidden gem worth visiting again and again. I had the London Fog and Flat White. The London Fog had a delicate taste of lavender which complimented the Earl Grey beautifully. The Flat White was perfectly steamed and finished with a Rosetta. The Flat White carried aromatic notes of dark chocolate and toasted almonds, which was deliciously paired with their offering of oat milk. I had grabbed myself a bag of Rwanda beans, Natural process -- something that I don't see very often and am very excited to brew at home. ”

“ I had a latte here and i really enjoyed it! The coffee aroma was really nice, it did not taste watered down, or too bitter or too milky/creamy. Everything was just right. I just wished they had a bit more seating. Theres only one small table for two and 3 seats against the wall. Hard to find parking on this street - best to walk here or take transit. ”

“ I like finding good espresso bars around Toronto. I had this one in my list for quite some time. Their cortado was up par. However, I was attracted to the glazed cinnamon rolls that they had on the counter They call them Morning Buns. OMG! That bun was delightful to say the least. ”
